The Tortoise, launched in 1991[1], was an unusual controller from Cheetah. The device was kept in place by four suction-cup feet, and you moved the controller by resting your palm on the tortoise shell and shunting it in the direction you wanted to go.

- Automatic centering
- Heavy-duty body with strong stabilising suction feet
- 8 directional movement
- Cage sold seperately
- Versions include ZX Spectrum, 16K, 48K, 128K (interface sold seperately), +2, +3, C64, Amstrad, Atari, Sega and Nintendo.
