The Grabber was a ball shaped accessory for the Atari CX40 joystick, which fitted on top the shaft,[1] with the aim of making it easier to use.

Manufacturer's Description

Get a handle on your game.

The Grabber is easy to install: Just push it on. Two Grabbers attach easily to your Atari Joysticks.

For Authentic Arcade Action, add a Grabber to your Atari Home Video Computer System. Your skill will increase as a result of greater ease of movement. It will give you better speed for handling split-second decisions, and added control of your joysticks. Let a Grabber make you a PAC-MASTER.

Reviews

"An inexpensive solution to some of the problems of the Atari joystick is called the "Grabber". Nothing more than a plastic top about the size of a golf ball, the Grabber slips over the head of the Atari joystick, making the stick easier to grasp and somewhat less wearing on the user's hand"
