This is quite a famous one: ”A joy¬ stick’s joystick,” some claim. Or "Wouldn't touch anything else,” is sometimes the cry- So what makes it so special? Well, for a start, it looks unbreakable with its solid ’frosted’ plastic casing and robust steel shaft from the Kojak lollipop school, Nutts has had one since 1985, ami it’s still unscathed. The new versions are stiff at first, with not much play in the stick, but this wears in after a few weeks’ play. The standard matt black model (£13,99) has a microswitchcd stick, but only pressure pads under the fire buttons. The Extra model boasts microswitches all round, and an autofire switch to boot. Excellent. Steve Bradley, Amiga Format, August 1993
